Dear Tabletopians, the Winners of the 13th Annual Golden Geek Awards for 2018 have been determined, and we are glad to inform you that one Winner (Brass: Birmingham) with some of Nominees and Runner Ups are presented on our platform! So here are some best games of 2018: 

 

1066, Tears To Many Mothers - a two player, non-collectible, asymmetric, competitive card game in the style of Magic the Gathering, which puts players in charge of the Normans or the Saxons and recreates the historic Battle of Hastings.

 

Architects of the West Kingdom - a game set at the end of the Carolingian Empire (circa 850 AD) about royal architects, compete to impress their king and maintain their noble status by constructing various landmarks.

Pavlov's House - game there you take control of the valiant defenders of a Soviet strongpoint in Stalingrad as they hold out against constant German attacks for almost two months.

 

Renegade - a cyberpunk deck-building game there you must save humanity from powerful Super-Massive Computers.

 

Teotihuacan: City of Gods - a game about the greatest city in Mesoamerica there each player commands a force of worker dice, which grow in strength with every move.
